Answer

How Long Does It Take to Paint a House in Houston?

Interiors run to plan. Exteriors run to the weather.

The honest answer depends on scope and condition, but the shape of it is predictable.

Rough shape of a timeline

What adds days

Repairs found once work starts, wood rot at eaves and sills, extensive scraping where old paint has failed, colour changes needing primer and an extra coat, and high or awkward access that needs staging.

Rain days are real here. Gulf Coast weather is the one variable nobody controls, so we build rain days into an exterior schedule rather than coating damp siding to hit a date.

What we commit to

A schedule up front, and a call if anything changes rather than a surprise at the end. See how the season affects timing or all our services.

Common questions

Do I need to move out?

Almost never. We work room by room, contain dust and use low-odor products where it makes sense so the house stays liveable.

How long before furniture can go back?

Walls are usually touch-dry quickly, but we advise leaving furniture off freshly painted surfaces for a day where possible so nothing marks the finish.
